As we are set to wrap up Pride Month 2019 I wanted to highlight a great organization based in Oregon - The Q Center. The Q Center. The Q Center was founded in Portland, OR over a decade ago and continues today to make an impact in the lives of individuals who struggle with gender and sexual identity issues. The core of their values seeks to provide members of the Pacific Northwest community with both a safe space and resources to help in times of good and bad. Thru their ongoing community programs, they are able to help out a wide variety of people with a wide variety of experiences. Whether you’re a transgender youth struggling with a rapidly changing identity or an elderly citizen seeking resources to assist you with coming out to friends and families, the Q Center is there to help. With Pride Month wrapping up, I’m proud to be able to share the Q Center with our little community here.
