#WCW Throwback: Democratic Party VP Nominee Kamala Harris

For those who have been following the blog since its inception I’m sure you’ll remember this post that I wrote last year highlighting then presidential candidate, Senator Kamala Harris. It goes without saying that I had to dust that post off with this week’s news of Senator Harris being announced to join the Biden ticket for this year’s presidential election. Senator Harris’s track record is not only impressive but out of the four primary faces of this election cycle she is the only person who could hold a seat in all three branches of government. How impressive is that? Senator Harris represents the best of our nation’s rich diversity, incredible work ethic, and all-around female empowerment.

Regardless of your person political affiliations, you have to acknowledge that this is a historic moment for the United States. If you are not currently registered to vote, I encourage you to check out the resources available on vote.org. If you are currently registered to vote, I encourage you to fill out a request for an absentee ballot so that you can stay safe and practice your democratic duty during this ongoing pandemic.
